Tattersalls August Sale Kicks Off On Wednesday

The Tattersalls August Sale, one of the more recent horses-in-training sales on the calendar, takes place at Newmarket on Wednesday with 224 lots set to go under the hammer.
The sale, introduced for the first time in 2020 in response to COVID-related circumstances, features drafts from Godolphin, Juddmonte, Richard Hannon, George Boughey, Richard Fahey and more.
Rolling The Dice (Ire) (Mehmas {Ire}) (lot 167), who finished third in the G2 May Hill S. last year, and the 95-rated Sea The Shells (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) (lot 303) are two of the more interesting horses in the sale.
The sale kicks off at 9:30 a.m. and the catalogue can be viewed online on the Tattersalls website.
